I don't know about the others, but I am quite impressed. Did you obtain most of the materials from Tandy?

    Cool...

Great job of documenting your project! Hope you can recover the rest of your photos.

Nice photo timeline of the project. Having made a few sporrans myself, I heartily agree with your comments about good tools and not oversretching the leather.
    Well done sir!

    Thanks Stitchwiz and Martin.

I am now pondering a wood peg for the closure since I can't find a metal pin. It would be fashioned in the pin style rather than some antler closures I have seen online. Wood might also be less questioned should I air travel donning this sporran.

Wonderful work, I do believe you should commit to wearing that far more than once given how well it turned out. I'd venture to say wear it often. Another example of some of the talent hanging around this site.

    Thank you both.
In a week or so I will attempt some tassels. Not certain I want to use them on this one, but will be good to give them a try.

Very nice job! All of what you stated in your first post rings true. It is a learning process and you take what you learn from every project and apply it to the next

Good job! A antler tine would be a good closure.
