I am now pondering a wood peg for the closure since I can't find a metal pin. It would be fashioned in the pin style rather than some antler closures I have seen online. Wood might also be less questioned should I air travel donning this sporran.
Wonderful work, I do believe you should commit to wearing that far more than once given how well it turned out. I'd venture to say wear it often. Another example of some of the talent hanging around this site.
