It's my four year anniversary of joining Xmarksthescot.com.
I wore a kilt for the first time in 2002. It was a Scottish theme wedding and the groomsmen were all kilted. I thought we were the sharpest looking wedding party. Ever. I didn't know it yet, but I was hooked.
Fast forward 8 years. I have an annual dinner with friends each January. 2010 was our 20th year of doing this and I wanted to dress for the occasion. I found the kilt shop where I had rented for my friend's wedding and rented a kilt and Prince Charlie. It was a hit. Now, I knew I was hooked.
I started researching kilts and my searches kept bringing me here. It was here that I found Stillwater Kilts and bought my first two Stillwater Standard kilts. As I was freshly kilted, I decided to make the leap and join the rabble.
I've never looked back.
6 (almost 7) kilts later, my addiction shows no sign of abatement. I've never been happier. I've been fortunate to meet a few of you in person and make more friends online.
