Great picture. Anyone know what tartan that is?

First I wouldn't say anything until he puts down the club. Second It's hard to be horrified because even if I did everything right I wouldn't look that good in a kilt.

Not 100% sure, but it looks like Hebridean Granite to me? There are lots of similar style grey tartans.

That picture reminds me of one of my favourite moments of the Commonwealth Games - Chris Hoy helping getting the message out the baton!

The look of relief he shares with the Queen at 2:02 is priceless!

I was quite impressed to see Sir Cycle-a-Lot wearing a grey kilt. I have a very cheap acrylic granite grey type kilt but as I like it I figure I should consider upgrading it to a PV or even a wool one in the not to distant future.

Nothing horrifies me about his dress but personally I don't like this modern drab grey look. Also I'm not very keen on the sporran with that off centre clasp. However I'm not knocking Sir Chris in any way. He's a great athlete, and a fine ambassador for Great Britain, Scotland and kilt wearers everywhere.
The Kilt is my delight !
