I found this interesting, 5 SCOTS (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) performing ceremonial duties, but the Pipes & Drums is that of 4 SCOTS (The Highlanders) as you can tell from their Cameron of Erracht kilts.

So... where is the Pipes & Drums of 5 SCOTS? I hope not disbanded due to 5 SCOTS becoming an "incremental Company".

Yes lovely kit! My favourite, I must say, of the Highland regiments.

Quite amazing the influence the pipers' kit of the Cameron Highlanders, introduced in the 1840s, has had on Scottish uniform in general. The green doublet, first introduced for the pipers of the 79th, was later adopted by all the Highland regiments, and now by the entire infantry of the nation.

And the kit soldiers on: the kit worn by the pipers of 4 SCOTS is little changed from the original 1840s 79th Foot pipers' kit (green doublet, Cameron of Erracht kilt, Glengarry with eagle feather, etc).
