LOL- Picked up on that did you?? Good for you. MAJOR fan. Have all their CDs. Really stumbled on them accidentally on Youtube a while back and obsessed ever since. In fact, planning my very first trip to Scotland next fall, and the dates for the trip are 100 % arranged around getting to see them live.

"I haven't figured out how to move there (Scotland) yet"
That's what you really must work on, Julia!
In the meantime, welcome from the Northeast of Scotland.

MAJOR fan. Have all their CDs.
Scocha are from Hawick which is the town where I live.
Before I retired I worked with Iain Scott's brother, and the drummer Ross Walsh lives directly across the street from me.
I have known Scottie and Chappie for many years before they became famous.
My wife and I are major fans also.

October 2015 is a wee while away yet but we may meet you at the Scocha gig in Peebles.
If not, be sure to include Hawick, Scotland's Heritage Capital in your itinerary, we are only 32 miles from Peebles.

Yes, Oct 2015 is indeed quite far away ..i only know with certainty that I will be there as I have already booked my flight . I will be in Scotland 3 weeks in total and plan to spend the entire time in the Borders, so i will definitely make it to Hawick.

You are certainly coming to the right area. Much of the Borders is Elliot country, besides being one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of Scotland.
Here's a link to a Clan Elliot stall at a Border Clans day from 2009.
