Not sure about it
Rabble,
I had this jacket and vest made for me. I was unsure about the pattern, whether it's too busy. But I went ahead with it anyway. Opinions on the jacket and vest?

Congrats Michael, on the new duds.
Busy? So what? The kilt, particualrly the tartan, is not intended to be boring, it is a statement unto itself. A jacket and waistcoat add to the charm.
If you think it's too much, wear it with a more subtle kilt.

I'm no sartorial expert.....I'd say put your sporran on for a fair call as that can make a big difference in the visual break between top/bottom. I'd also suggest a more natural light for the pic...looks a bit stark with the flash and that can make colors look different.
Still, looks a nice jacket/vest.

Great looking jacket and vest. I too would like too see it with a brown sporran, and your kilt given a twist about 2 inches to your right.

Not too sure about the three button format for the jacket. Absolutely perfect tweed though. Some tweeds are supposed to be loud and or, busy, ok they do look a tad strange to those that are not used to them in cities, so what, there are plenty of people around dressed in rather more loud outfits! Whilst not suggesting that you do so, or need too, you will find, however, in a country setting the pattern will be rather more sympathetic. Don't forget that tweed patterns and colours were the forerunners in Cammo gear! Realtree? Pah!
