Out for a walk yesterday.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

If those are the hose you dyed they are great and to wear them out gets my approval.

Those are not ones I dyed. I have a pair of grey-blue that I dyed, but these are a recent purchase.

This gal came into the office on Friday and was fascinated by the kilt, asked lots of questions and she had us all in stitches, she was so much fun. I guess it was her first kilt experience. She insisted on a photo, which she emailed to me.

Yea! Kilted Friday (or anyday) sounds great to me ... I'm for any opportunity to meet other afficianados (sp?) of kilting! Anyone know of anything in the San Bernardino, Riverside, Redlands California area? I've been homebound with medical problems for over a year now, and am raring to get our socially again ... preferably with my new friends in kiltdom! Thanks?

Laurence,
As I am not in the area, I'd be unable to attend, but allow me to suggest that you plan a kilt night in your area, then make a post in the Kilt Nights subforum. I believe there are a good number of xmarkers in the LA area.

Kilted Friday Not
Our local Scottish Society is meeting this evening. So, I kilted up for it this Wednesday in a USA Kilts semi-trad in
Stewart Black tartan.
Work was a little challenging as I need to venture out from the office for a road repair inspection during this a windy day.
Mentioning to one of the lady residents that I met as I was doing my inspection that being kilted on such a windy day was not probably the best attire. She commented that none of the ladies there would agree with that comment and would prefer it be windier! .

I went out for my daily half hour walk, kilted, yesterday and as I was passing a couple sitting having lunch on the grass, the lady asked if I was from Scotland. 45 minutes later, I was able to continue on my walk! Sometimes the kilt has a lot to answer for.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
