Very interesting, thank you. I had no idea whether you had to tie them or clip them on. I don't think they were invented when I got married.

While pre-tied ruches—or any other neck tie—are convenient, there is something to be said for learning to do-it-yourself. A ruche tie (aka cocolupa) is just an ascot cravat tied with a loose 4-in-hand knot.
