Thanks all.
I am just a guest at the wedding. A long time friend of the family. It's not a very formal event. The wedding party will likely be in tuxes. Most gentleman guests will be in jackets/ties.
I think I knew the fur sporran would be out of place given my place as a guest and the overall formality. And either choice of leathers would really work. I actually just laid out my whole ensemble and looked at it with both sporrans.
Can't decide. Maybe I will bring both sporrans and decide when I get there.
Belay that.
Tie breaker! My brown sporran strap is in better shape than my black sporran strap. Dilemma solved. Brown it is.
