Ahoy from La Grange! Nice to meet another Chicago area kiltie! Being a keen learner, there are three terrific resources. First is Barbara Tewksbury's book, The Art of Kiltmaking. (www.celticdragonpress.com). Many here have her book and swear by it. The second is the annual Kilt Kamp hosted and presented by Barb Tewksbury and Steve Ashton, owner of Freedom Kilts and the owner of this forum.

The third resource is this forum itself. There are no dumb questions and there are many here who will answer your questions about anything kilt related. Kilt making, history, tartans, kilted celebrity buzz, you name it.

Hope to see you in Itasca!
