    I'm sorry it's gotten late
You've had to sit and wait
    Before you know
    You'll be good to go
You'd better get back to the gate

poems like this are a crime
I sentence you all to do time
    for trying to sandwich
    the words of your language
    in appalling, execrable rhyme

    The terrible poems I'm tellin'
Surely make me the worst felon
    Not even your sentence
    Can force my repentance
My limerlicking you can't be quellin'

Most poems I write are quite crude
using words both wicked and rude
    these here I'll avoid
    lest the mods get annoyed
and from this board me preclude

some rhymes in here are quite clever
this is a skill I could never
    myself be proficient
    indeed, I'm deficient
    in this, the alliteration endeavor

    A rabbi, a priest, and a vicar
in a bar did argue and bicker
    if the drinking of gin
    was considered a sin
for making pantie removal much quicker

    I've arrived just in time
    To post one last rhyme
As I sit in my seat
    I'm white as a sheet
About to poop greenish brown slime
"Everything is within walking distance if you've got the time"

    From this rhyme I derived
    That Grain Reaper has arrived
    His flight was late
    And he had to wait
    While many beers he imbibed

Okay, I have been picking on @GrainReaper a lot in this thread. It's all in good fun.

    Looking back, it's true
I've written a limerick or two
    But you hadn't oughta'
    Give me so much fodder
Which is why these limericks accrue

    In kilting do I dabble
Much like the rest of the rabble
    My friends think I'm nuts
    But I'll tell you what
    "Nuts" is just psychobabble
