    To rhyme I am inspired
    They come to me rapid-fire
    But not to ignore
    This is a kilt forum
Is a reference to kilts required?

    I knew a kilted bloke
    Who liked his kilts bespoke
    For a perfect fit
    He had his hose knit
They showed 'neath his inverness cloak

    G.R never guessed
    Sushi would cause duress
    Feeling quite cocky
    He dined on some maki
    'Twas a mistake to ingest

I took a writing class from Professor Woo
and was asked to compose a Haiku.
    A simple ideal
    evaded my quill
and I failed the drill. Who knew!

    Comprised of three little rows
    Haiku are fun to compose
    They don't have to rhyme
    Or be recited in time
    Then again, neither does prose

    I repeated Professor Woo's class
    this semester. I passed.
My verses, "the size of a breath"
    sated Dr. Woo's request.
Thus, my "Good Words", are best.

    Haiku seem to appeal
    To our friend, Tarheel
    After he was forced
    To pass Woo's course
He now writes on a more even keel

    I posted a limerick
    that I wrote too quick.
    It's now "On Line"
    and I suddenly find
    resembles amateuristic schtick.

There is no need to regret it
Just scroll down a bit and click "Edit"
    It's a piece of cake
    We all make mistakes
And the rabble are quick to forget it
