    I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work with Double-Windsor with a typical long tie. Again, that depends on your tie's size and its width.

    maybe it's my fingers, i always find it a bit simpler to tie a DW with the skinnier part, maybe also because im taller, and i need the length of the tie so it falls mid buckle in a normal suit situation - ergo forcing me to use the skinnier part of the tie.

    if my tie is a little on the long side I change the knot to a trinity. it shortens the length of the tie and looks classy. it's also a little different. I used this knot when I was looking for a job and it turned out it was a subtle way to stand out a bit. link below is how to tie it.

    thanks man! Thats a rad way to tie a tie. it would be a little dazzle in lieu of a cravat or double windsor! great share.
