    Yes, this is the Kilgore, or Kilgour, tartan. That is yellow, it just looks white in those photos.

    Kilgores from my ancestry fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain, which has particular significance to the SAMS heraldry.

    The top beam is AVL's new half-yard sectional beam. I added the screws seen on the top pin bar, for the extension chords.
    The bottom beam is AVL's old (from the 80's) half-yard sectional beam.
    I take the crank handles off so they don't bounce while beating. I've sheared a few crank-handle bolts from the bouncing.
