Dart at the inverted pleat

I am at about the same stage in my kilt. The basting is just to give the dart its shape. Unlike most of the rest of the basting you have done, you will not remove these basting stitches; they stay in. I was initially wondering about this step, since I don't have a lot of shaping in my kilt (or my body), but I look at my other kilt and discovered the dart in it... basting stitches still in place.
