New Scotch Distilleries Opening This year

Finally the distillery at Shelter point just outside of Campbell River on Vancouver Island offered it's first single malt, It's barely 5 years old so still very young but a wonderful expression and will be incredible when it gets some age on it The public was all chanting that we wanted it sooner but the master distiller said No you only get one chance at offering your inaugral run and so it must be the very best you can make......he was so right

That was going to be my contention.... That while it may be great that new distilleries are starting up, it may be a good 10-12 years minimum before we actually get to enjoy any of what they have to offer. ;-)
