How do I find the exact weight of the material?? ( I wasn't given the information)\

I'd estimate it to be a Mid-weight.. it's not Dance weight and not a Heavy weight

Appears nicely hand sewn to me.

Pretty sure the 3rd photo I had posted shows the interior... so not sure how much more of the interior could be shown

A very rough estimate of fabric weight can be reached by simply weighing the kilt.

In general a kilt made from 16oz wool will weight around 4 pounds.
A 13oz wool kilt will weigh around 3.25 pounds.
A 12oz synthetic kilt will weigh around 3 pounds.

To find the exact weight use a tape measure and find the total length of the fabric used by measuring along the hem. Remember to Include the apron facings. Measure in inches
Then measure the total height of the kilt from the hem up to the top of the kilt also in inches.

Multiply the length of fabric used by the the height to find the total square inches of fabric used to make the kilt.

Divide the square inches of fabric by the weight in ounces.

16oz fabric will be - 1 ounce = 135 square inches.
13oz fabric will be - 1 ounce = 166 square inches.
12oz fabric will be - 1 ounce = 180 square inches.
10oz fabric will be - 1 ounce = 216 square inches.

Going by the above Calculation to find Kilt fabric Weight.. it works from my calculations (which could be wrong... ) a 16 oz.

But I'd swear it feels more of a 13oz to me.... ah well
