My friend Riverkilt. While I can understand your plan to go "regimental" in Lost Wages, in February, there still exists a slight chance of embarrassing situations arising. My own experience with red hat ladies indicates that mature women and alcohol often result in a lowering of standards of care. Therefore I would suggest forgoing the "regimental" route, and instead wear some novelty boxers with cartoon characters on them. Imagine the reaction of 'aunt Maude' and her friends when one of them, following a couple rounds of Long Island Iced Teas, conducts a kilt check, only to encounter the visage of Scooby-Do or Wiley Coyote. Just be sure to select your shorts for their ability to induce laughter.
