Glad that you were able to scare the potential thief away. I saw another story that had a similar build-up, with a much different approach when the thief was apprehended. It was in http://www.theroot.com/man-catches-t...nds-1820016484 and involved some immediate corporal punishment, followed by the proper application of the law.
