The diced and Argyle are more of a hobby collection than practical, but I love having them and wearing them on appropriate occasions. Most of the time I wear my dark green or bison jacquard knit hose or my claret from Steve. I wear those on a lot of fairly formal events too. Very little else. Diced are pretty close to the top if not over it.
I like the look of diced and Argyle hose but to me they are a bit too "Dressy" for the daywear attire that I wear........even with my charcoal grey tweed that is about as close to "very formal dress" that I have. I think unless they were quite dark they would look a bit too fancy
