I can second this endorsement of the USA Kilts hanger. I had them throw in a hanger with the kilt they made for me this summer and the hanger is a quality piece of work. Strong, wide, and easy to use.
In fact, it is so wide that it only fits when it's all the way to one side of my Chinese armoire (there are no closets in most Chinese apartments). The rod is not hung straight, so in any other position the hanger would stick out too far for me to slide the door closed. Since Chinese men tend to have smaller shoulders than Americans, hangers and storage spaces here tend not to be as deep as in the USA. The hanger would work fine back in my Florida house.
At any rate, the hanger combines robust construction with easy access for when I want to take the kilt off to wear or put it back on the hanger.
