Absolutely! I'll take some tonight (basted) before I take it in tomorrow for pressing and then again after removing the basting stitch(es).
I was surprised how "off" the few factory pleats were from the sett. I lined things up following Steve's tutorial and only a few of the pleats actually matched horizontally to where they should have. Most of them were off by about 1 or 2 mm, and not set very well at all. But the good part is that the kilt is sewn well and the fabric is actual 13 oz tartan wool so it should hold a nice, crisp edge for a long time once set.
