I'll be convening my Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society tent this Labor Day weekend at the Virginia Scottish Games at the Great Meadow in The Plains. Let's Meet-up at 2 PM Saturday at my tent for the obligatory Hamish pose group pic. Afterwards we will have a few drams. If you don't have a Clan tent there to hang out, you're welcome to do so with me. On a personal note, I'll be furling my banners permanently and retiring as the Virginia Convener with this event.

Mael, where is the Great Meadow in The Plains? I would love to be there, but will have to see how I feel, also I don’t drive much anymore. It's 5 miles north of Warrenton on Route 17. I'm posting below a link with address and map. https://www.vascottishgames.org/general-info/contact/
Our patron package arrived in the mail today. Wahoo!
As stated ASinclair and Carolinanan117 were at the Meet-Up. Allen brought to share his Clan's single malt Old Pulteney a 12 for the Whisky Tasting. A good time has had by all who attended. At least they appeared to have a good time. As witnessed by The Hamish! At the end of the event my banners were furled and passed on to the next generation. They will be unfurled in three weeks at the Scotland County Scottish Highland Games.
It looks like a good time was had by all. Wish I could have made it. Just a little bit too far for me to drive. Darn it.
