I went snowshoeing today. The temperature was below 0F, but the worst problem was that the snowshoes kicked up snow behind me, and ice stuck to the leg hairs on the backs of my knees. I was all crusty! I had on tall gaiters, but could have used something covering my knees too, just for the snow-caking problem. It was great snowshoeing, though. And now we're having a blizzard in Boston.
