I had pockets added to all of my US Kilts tailored kilts. Great place for a cell phone. Extra charge, but worth it.

What style pockets did they add? Are they center pockets, or side slash pockets? Can you describe the construction? Thanks!

Just straight up and down pocket matched with pattern to create a hidden pocket for cell phone convenient to right hand. Quite useful.

Wow, this template is bigger than I envisioned. I might have to scale it down or the left and right pocket pleats will overlap in the center. Or maybe I'm not visualizing it correctly.
What waist size is the template designed for? I'm trying to fit it in a 34" waisted kilt. Right now I've got it on a apron chalked for a 36" kilt, and even with the extra 1" on the right side, the template slightly crosses the middle of the front apron.
I guess I'll make the two deep pleats as deep as possible without overlapping in the center, and look into making the pockets work with what I've got once the rest of the kilt is sewn. I'm really feeling my lack of experience. :-)
