I would love to carry a practical sgian dhu, but they're considered concealed weapons in Michigan (Assistant county DA told me that) My folder that I carry has a blade just as long, but is perfectly legal. The knige laws here are rather screwed up.
Of course, at some point I'm getting my concealed weapons permit so I can transport my blackpowder pistols from one place to another.
