How could I forget these great celtic musicians???!!!
I should have went & looked at my self.
A few others I have are:
    Altan
    Cherish the Ladies.
Another great group that has now broken up is
    Full moon Ensemble.

If you like it with a little more
    rock I suggest:
    Dropkick Murphys
    Flogging Molly
    Nelson

There's also the Rogues (formerly the Scottish Rogues), out of Houston, and E. J. Jones, who's done some solo projects since Clandestine.

Alasdair Fraser is an incredible Scottish fiddler, as is Brian McNeill. I get to hear them at TSF every year. Such a treat!

Andy M. Stewart, formerly of Silly Wizard, is a wonderful singer & song writer.

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned
    Capercaillie
    Battlefield Band
    Fiddler's Bid
    Malinky
    Dougie Maclean
    Ally Bain
    and the list goes on...

Smithfield Fair is out of Baton Rouge.

Some of the lads who were formerly of The (Scottish) Rogues formed Scottish Mayhem earlier this year. More great rocking pipes!

It's such a joy to have so much wonderful music available, but I'll be never able to buy it all & afford to eat, much less be able to buy more kilts for my lads.

new to my shelf, recent purchases in the last month are:

Capercallie Grace & Pride the Anthology 2004-1984 (just LOVE Karen Matheson, pleasing to the eye and the ear!)

    Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola
, An Raicín Álainn (The Beautiful Comb) a lass from Inishere, sean-nos style, beautiful!

Wicked Tinkers, Whiskey Supper, that was free, the lads sent it to me.

The Rogues, VO, brilliant album, nice version of Bonny Portmore and Cullen Anderson

John McLean Allan, Stand Easy, good piper.

Catherine Ann MacPhee, Sůil Air Ais - Looking Back, from the Western Isles I believe.

    Silly Wizard
    , Wild & Beautiful.

I'm waiting on the new album from Dochas and an album of Adiemus.
No wonder I can't afford more kilts! but music is life and celtic music compliments the kilt perfectly.

I can confirm that The Rogues are the same as the Rogues of Scotland & The Scottish Rogues.

Tono, have you heard Milladoiro http://www.milladoiro.com/ ? They are from Santiago de Compostela.

Anyone know if the Rogues aka Scottish Rogues are the same as "The Rogues of Scotland". I found a few mp3s on the net (samples of their music), and they sounded pretty good.
