If you're willing to spend a bit more, there's this guy named Edward (Art) Spelman that has these great kilt belts made specifically for you via an Amish tack shop in his area. His belts cost about $120 but they're really awsome! They're very thick, studded and have built in utility rings for a dirk or sword frog, etc. He offers three sizes... 2 and 3/4 inches, 3 inches, or 4 inches wide and they come in either Black with silver studs/furniture or brown with brass studs/furniture. I have both a black and a brown one (both 3 inches wide) and couldn't be happier with them. They're very impressive and I get lots of compliments while wearing them. They also work well for either formal or casual atire. He has an ebay auction where you can find more info on the belts...search for McCracken Kilt Belt and it will come up. I know this is more than you wanted to spend, but I really feel they're a quality item and they come with a large D-ring buckle so no need to spend the extra $45 on a buckle later.

I had to bump this to thank JBfromBS for posting that link to Gowen Militaria. My belt came today and it's great. The price was great, too.
If my brown sporran shows up tomorrow, I'll wear my new rig to the Cortland festival on Saturday.
Thanks, Joe!

You're very welcome, Bob, and I'm glad you like the belt. I am also very pleased with mine, I think it was an excellent value!
