Should you ever happen to be in Scotland during the summer and at a Highland games, you might find used Ghillie Brogues. The last time I was there, one vendor had a huge box of reconditioned, re-soled Ghillie Brogues for about $25 a pair. I know that this pre-supposes you're in Scotland, but it's worth keeping in mind. And I'm sure someone enterprising on this forum could make a profit by buying a bunch and re-selling them!!
