Steve, if you mean buttons like in Nancymans avatar, they're a stock item in fabric stores. I got some just like those at Hancock Fabric

Vincent,
A warm welcome to you from the 'right' side of the pond (!) and thank you for a splendid kilt odyssey.
I flew into Vancouver this year on the actual afternoon of 'Pride' and so missed all the fun. However, far more exciting was the fact that I was met at the airport by 'Bear' and Raphael, together with Raphael's lovely wife and son - who could have asked for more? Not me! During the two weeks of my stay, I visited Bear in his well-hidden den a couple of times, visited Steve in his Freedom Kilts haven and was personally guided around Victoria by him, enjoyed a great Kilts Night at Doolins, and was royally treated and entertained by 'The Raphaels' at almost every other waking moment. A truly memorable visit to a truly memorable city peopled by truly memorable kilt-wearers! You are fortunate indeed to now be one of their number - and one of ours, here at "X Marks....."

Hi Steve,
Thanks, but I like the filigree ones I ordered for my FK very much. I got the celtic knot buttons from Dressew, a short way from Terry's shop. They weren't cheap. I think I paid about 8 dollars for 6 of them. And they look a lot better than my avatar. If the Bear can't find them I'll happily get you some.
Cheers,
Vincent
I've kilt for less.

Well there's the problem Bubba. We don't have Hancock Fabrics here. In fact we have only one fabric store left in Victoria and it's holding on by the skin of it's teeth.

Steve, they're Creative Buttons by JHB International. The buttons are Celtic Knot and the 7/8 inch size is number 1421. Maybe the fabric store can order them for you. They cost $1.50 US per pair.

Vincent,
Outstanding story! Welcome to the asylum.
I think you will find we are an incorrigible lot. ;-)
