I'll echo the welcomes, and also the desire to get training for the highland games. When I approached one of the caber tossers at the Chicago Celtic festival this summer (as he was strapping the caber to the top of a VW Passat!) and asked where one trained, he responded "your local park!" and then confirmed my comment that "you just find a downed tree and start tossing it?"! There has to be more to training than that!
And my advice would be to keep your feet off the furniture here, some people are really uptight about it! Other than that, sit back and relax.
