This really ticks me off when people do this. I hate it even when it's my friends doing it. You don't pull up women's skirts to see what they have underneath so why would do it to a guy in a kilt? At my rugby end of season dinner in December last year, I grabbed the hand of one person infamous for putting his hands up there as he was about to go in for an exploratory visit and told him that if he ever did it again, he would had better be planning to use a mechanical arm for the rest of his life because I would be ripping that arm off and using it to beat him until he was unconscious.
He hasn't done it since...sadly some people still don't get the hint that it's rude to do that regardless of whether or not you're friends or not....

Well done Derek. I had an unpleasant encounter last night at my local pub where they hold a karaoke each Saturday. I usually call in for a couple on my way to another pub, as I cannot stand karaoke. I was approached by 3 women (not ladies !) who proceeded to maul me, put thier hands up my kilt and try to lift the kilt front and back ! I had to push them off. Fortunately, they realised what they were doing and stopped. I just stared at them in a disapproving way, and they walked b ack to their seats.
