Welcome to the 21st century and the throw-away society we exist in.
I might be showing my age, but I clearly remember when a man's word meant something. If you made a promise, you kept it. Shaking a man's hand was as binding as signing a contract.
That was then, this is now. Men and women that really have no real desire to commit themselves to a life-long relationship end up taking a vow that they don't fully understand and certainly do not mean. People borrow money with little to no hope of ever paying it back to the lender.
Remember the days of watch repair shops? How about television repair shops? Shoe repair shops? All of these concerns are becoming as extinct as the dinosaurs, because we are perfectly willing to toss whatever out the door and purchase new. Whether it be a television or a spouse.
And what any of this has to do with Women and Kilt Wearing is totally beyond my imagination, so let's try to steer back to the original topic.
