    I have fallen into the same trap. I drift away from people that I really care about, most times due to distance and schedules. I am just now starting to track down old friends that I've lost touch with. Thank goodness for the internet.

    It is tough to lose a friend, even if the miles do seperate us, keeping in touch is difficult. My heart and thoughts go out to you, and as has been said earlier, look at what they brought to the friendship.
