Dress Sporran Ordered

Isn't that the truth!:rolleyes: In the past year I've ordered a complete formal outfit, and a complete business outfit a piece or two at a time. I wonder how much I would have saved if I had just gone ahead and ordered the packages?:confused: (To tell the truth, I don't want to know. It would be too depressing.)

I am used to this though. The first tattoo I got I ended up adding to it 4 more times for a total of $500. I would have been better off getting it all done at once for 1/2 the price.

It is fun adding stuff a piece at a time though, as you get the jones and excitment of delivery numerous times rather than just the once.

My dress sporran is made out of rabbit fur. I personally like the fluffier fir instead of the shorter hair on the seal sporrans.

I've seen lots of different kinds of fur (rabbit, muskrat, skunk, mink, etc.). Of the types I have seen, only sealskin is not legal. I'm sure there are some others, I just haven't seen them.

Interesting. A good friend of mine has a rabbit fur sporran from Edinburgh that always makes him the center of attention. I assume from what I have seen available on line that the rabbit fur sporrans is a bit cheaper than the seal skin.

I like the look of the seal skin and am really looking forward to the delivery. I just guess that Sir Paul McCartny and I can't become friends now

I have seen the crossed chains on a couple of other sites and thought that the dress sporran i have my eye on would look rather dashing with the chain crossed. [ the cantcle has an embossed Saltire and Lion Rampant on a blue background design]. Good luck on the quit smoking, think of all the little extras you will be able to get with the money you save by not smoking.

My dress sporran is angora (long and curly, and very bright white), and I've seen three different kinds of fox and badger in addition to the ones you've mentioned, Dave.
