I remember people posting that they had been able to get Kathy Lare to make them kilts from the XMarks tartan they got off the first run.
I'm happy to make a kilt from tartan that someone supplies, provided that it's 100% wool and suitable for making a trad kilt from. Just PM me, and we can talk. Barb

Barb's post reminded me -- I make most all of my kilts from heavy weight 100% worsted wool, as well. I do sometimes use other clothes, namely heavy woolen tweeds, like Harris tweed. So if the cloth isn't standard kilt cloth, it will have to be something coparable. I'm more than happy to take a look at any cloth you have, but I'll let you know if it is not suitable for a kilt.
