    Its here!!

    Okay, it really doesn't look that bad. In fact, Its much nicer than my first Sport Kilt. My biggest complaint is the elastic waist band causes the pleats to bunch but if I pull it really tight and stretch it the pleats hang fairly nice. I don't know if it was intentional or by accident but it looks to be pleated to the stripe (My first one wasn't pleated to anything) which would go with the the other tanks in the band. The fringe looks nice but who ever sewed it on didn't line it up with the tartan pattern. My wife said she wouln't have ever realized it if I hadn't pointed it out. But she also said if it really bothered me she could take it off and reattach it properly with out much trouble.

    I'm going to wear it to my pipe lesson tomorrow and let my pipe major (who it just so happens is my teacher) get a good look at it. I really think it will pass as a viable substitute until they order the tanks. The true test will be the parade that is comming soon. If I can get some pics I'll post and see what y'all think.
