I had to get up at 0300 and call the company to see where my kilthose were and found that they hadn't been sent yet after almost two months and I mentioned the VAT and they said they would take it off before mailing the hose, unfortunately, although they had not sent my hose they had already billed my card so now that has to be unraveled.
Speaking of tax, how many here have off road vehicles and/or motorboats?

Nice, but I meant OFF road vehicles and boats, vehicles that were never meant for the roads but use gasoline, I have some infomation that I have used for years that I want to pass on to you all. Who all have boats and OFF road vehicles? Maybe I can help you save enough for a "Tank".
Well, it seems that nobody has any off-road vehicles or no one wants to answer my post but I'll tell you anyway, when you fill your boat or ORV do you get a receipt? I do. After filling up my 'whatever' that is NOT a road use vehicle for the entire year I send in a claim for a refund of all the tax money that I paid on the gas. I didn't use it ON ROAD and the taxes on a gallon of gasoline are for using the roads of our country. If you aren't using the gasoline for highway use why pay gasoline tax for an off road vehicle or boat? If you all consider how much some states like California charge for a gas tax it all adds up and you have a savings plan for a new kilt or sporran or belt or...
