    I took your advice and went to Lowes, I bought two, one plain that I dyed black and the other is the perfect brown. A great deal, thanks much.

    That's so ironic, I did the same thing about a month and a half ago. The belts are about $18.00 plus tax. It's great for a feilidh-mhor/breacan-feile. They look pretty good for day wear, but I wouldn't wear them with a tweed jacket (Ettrick) during the day. These belts have a rugged quality to them. I have one and I personally think they are great for those on a budget or starting out.

    I'm so glad you answered this question before I asked it. I found the natural belts a couple of months ago at my local Lowes or Home Depot - don't remember which - but I didn't know how to finish them.

    So, then what? They get a coat of clear leather wax or what?
