Sounds like you may touched a nerve with a very proud Scot and proud kiltmaker. He was, at least polite, although perhaps blunt.
... Are there any other USA kilt companies who are, overtly or covertly, having their products sewn in a foreign land?
Stillwater kilts I believe are all of offshore manufacture... and very popular it would seem.
