On the other hand-add 1 hardhat, toolbelt with telecom tools, reflective orange vest-you have a kilted telecom worker. I could bring a 4' ladder and cones to add to the look.
What to do, what to do.......
Alan, Panache-got any words of wisdom on this?

Ray,
It is a costume theme for the evening, but wear what you like. The F-H.C.A.G. will be going as Jessica Rabbit!!! and I will be in full Highwayman garb*. Tim C. and his lovely lady Damaris will be in attendance. Our friends (and regulars) Monkey@arms and Walkerk will be off in San Francisco for a scotch tasting. Alan H. will be there, but briefly. CaptainJak should be there. Not sure about Michael Steinrok or Way2fractious. It is going to be a very atypical kilt night for us. Should still be fun.
* I get to dress in kilts all the time, in contrast there are very few times of the year when it is appropriate to dress as a Highwayman ( Stand and Deliver! )

First time (great)kilted ...
Do you remember the first time you ventured into public in a kilt? Rivulets of sweat... heart palpitations... butterflies flying formations in your stomach...
Well, wearing a great kilt in public for the first time is no different.
I've got the plaid, with small drawstring loops sewn inside; an highlands shirt; wide belt; long, stringy, black wig to go under the gray tam bonnet; proper weaponry; and, of course, the skunk sporran. Still thinking on hose and footwear. There is no intention to do the period-accurate reenactment thing; just fun.
The thought keeps occurring, 'Is Devil's Canyon Brewery is ready for such a thing?', but the recurring answer is, 'There will be highwaymen, pirates, and other unsavory characters, as well - perhaps even more over-the-top.'
(Those butterflies on the wing really generate the g-force!)

Alan,
We will try our best to get there asap. The F-H.C.A.G. had another surgery put on her plate last night for today so she will be working very hard to get out the door of the clinic by 5:00.
Motorman,
We will toast your health. Hope you can make it next month (and for Burn's Night in January!)
Switchblade,
Pictures? Absolutely!
See you at the Devil's Canyon Brewery!
Cheers
