Time with family is almost always the better gift anyway. Like material things, family comes and goes. The only difference is that we rarely miss the material things when they are gone from our lives. Enjoy, mate.

Colin, I absolutely agree. She came to visit me two years ago when I had no idea about where I lived and what were the 'must see' things. Now I know so much more and I am determined to make sure she has the best trip I can give her. That is far more important than anything material.

I agree with you absolutely Colin. Family is way more important than material stuff. You can always replace material things, but family is irreplaceable.

...but getting new kilt stuff sure is fun.

My early Christmas gifts showed up today, and they're freaking great . The Saffron Kilt I ordered from Stillwater Kilts with matching Flashes and a set of Flashes for my Nightstalker Kilt came today. With that package the Belt and Buckle I ordered from USAKilts showed as well. Both at the same time, which is funny because I ordered them about 4 days apart:confused: . I tried on the Saffron Kilt right away to make sure it fits, which it does, I just have to pull out the threads that hold the pleats together. I have to say that the Saffron Kilt is so much nicer then I expected. I also tried on the Belt and Buckle from USAKilts, which also fits very well. In the pictures on the USAkilts site, I thought the belt was a dark brown, but it's black, it's super cool non the less.
When my wife gets home from work I'll get her to take some pics.
