"Dressy"? Well, here are two versions of "dressy" as I see it. First, the Brittany National with grey tweed Argyll:
And then, my blue worsted kilt suit from TFCK in Edinburgh (more often worn with a tie!):
No. of Kilts: 102. "Title": Lord Hamish Bicknell, Laird of Lochaber / Life Member: The Scottish Tartans Authority / Life Member: The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society / Member: The Ardbeg Committee / My NEW Photo Album: Sadly, and with great regret, it seems my extensive and comprehensive album may now have been lost forever!/

Hamish will probably cringe, but until I get an Argyll jacket I consider this to be just a wee bit dressy. At least I got away with it for holiday parties last year.

Admittedly, this is not as dressy as others, but it's how I do "dressy" with a Utilikilt.
Charcoal polo sweater, olive utilikilt, stone hose, Alfani shoes.

Off to the Christmas Party
I'm all dressed up ready to go to the first Christmas Party of the 2006 season. The 13 oz, 8 yard tank is in the District of Argyll/Campbell of Cawdor tartan.
This kilt is in the modern tartan, the colors are dark and it does not photograph well, the green background and the azure stripe blends into the background.
