I hope to God it gets popular! If it went mainstream I could wear one to work... I could go kilted full time! But as it stands, popular "Texas Opinion" doesn't leave room for kilts, even for a guy who edits video full time... and I am relegated to every where except work for the kilt. Heck, I went to the Cowboys game yesterday kilted and got nothing but compliments... except of course from the co-workers I told before the game. "You're going to watch an NFL game live... in a kilt? Whatever.

I say bring on popular and trendy... The tards that change trends more often than they change socks will move on, leaving behind acceptance of the kilt by most everyone... even if they do think it's "Soooo last year!"

    Oh,yes!

I'd be more than happy to see kilts become popular. Maybe then we'll get less " Hoots mon/are you Scottish/what's underneath/where's yer bagpipes/etc." comments from the Great Unwashed
Perhaps also Mrs Barry would be seen out with me at other than a "do".

I also echo Ham's sentiment - there are lots of blokes out there who would love to wear a kilt but aren't doing so because of societal pressures.

I would be happy to see kilts/cilts becoming more mainstream

When something is good it's a shame to see it restricted to the few!

If the kilt (cilt) is worn well and with confidence it will go mainstream. I think thpugh it will become a wardrobe choice alongside the tr***ers except for the happy few.

    Mainstream? I don't mind I embrace it!
