    This might help Captain,

Holding a USA Casual kilt and cheap plastic hanger adds no weight to a scale with me on it - less than half a pound.

Holding a UK Original adds 2 1/2 lbs. Holding a UK Workman's adds 4 lbs.

That's for size 40 short UKs

    Hey Ron...

Keep in mind that the material length is different on both... UK probably has more material overall since the pleats go all the way around to the front (minus the 8" apron which has 2 pleats under it) where our front aprons are hip to hip. Also, the pockets and snaps and rivets and other "tid bits" add weight as well.

Just some things to think about... Not good or bad... just different.

For sure Rocky, figured folks knew all that stuff...

Was gonna include something to that effect in my post but couldn't figure out how to say it.

Only time I worry about a kilt's weight is with hand sewn wool kilts, then it makes a big difference....
