What is your source and how do I get some.

In the early days of Freedom Kilts I found some 14 oz. Bull Denim and made a few kilts from it. They are very heavy, very durable. But my source dried up and have been trying to find some more ever since.

The main problem with fabric that heavy is that you almost have to have an industrial maching to punch through all those layers. Especially when attaching the waistband and going through 10 to 12 layers of pleats, four layers of waistband and four layers of beltloops. Only an industrial machine can be adjusted to have the foot raise the 1/2 inch to get all those layers under it.

Luckily I have 4 Pfaff 138's in the shop.

If you would be willing to share your source perhaps we can make a deal.
