I've yet to have a negative reaction to being kilted (to my face) - but what's with the guys being worried about my underwear, or lack thereof?

Sounds like they're afraid you have a competitive edge...

A great story. I was at my company awards night the other week and got a very positive reaction from all the women. They nearly all smiled as they walked past and a few stopped for a quick word, one even went further than that - see my post 'sexy lady asks the question'. However it was a differant story with most of the men. Their reactions ranged from looking very sheepish at me to giving me looks that could kill. Maybe they were all jealous !

I would take what you read in the tabloid press with a pinch of salt.

Joy to the World
The experience of wearing a kilt can be breathtaking and exciting. As I always say every time you wear a kilt its an adventure.
As well as being a garment that attracts attention from almost every person you meet, I find that when you wear the kilt and wear it frequently it sets an example for other people to wear it. I find that if I'm going to an event and tell friends that I will be wearing my kilt, very often my friends will hire kilts for this occassion because they always wanted to wear a kilt but never had the opportunity to do so and to go along with someone wearing the kilt.

Sounds like the "safety in numbers" syndrome Julian
Tell them that after 3 or 4 hires they could have owned their own kilt

More Joy at Christmas time
Due to the positive experiences I have gotten, I plan on turning it up a notch this Christmas an Wear my kilt more often than usual, so far we will be at a Kilt Night on friday, and attending a Messiah Sing on Saturday, and assorted holiday Partys my Girlfriend and I have been invited to,All kilted. Thus Spreading the Joy Of Christmas, and the kilt, throughout the city.
Also sounds like a good New years Resolution.

Although I think I would amend that to what you read in any press with a pinch of salt from recent experience.
