    Last year when my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas I told her that I wanted a kilt. She told me that if I wanted a kilt that I would have to do it right and get a good one. So I was approved for an 8 yard 16 oz wool kilt in my family tartan. She is still somewhat embarassed or just doesn't understand my kilt wearing outside of special heritage related occassions but she tolerates it anyway.

    Congratulations on having a wife who at least understands the history of kilts a little bit. Keep her happy for a long time.
