Now you know why my son and I stop and look at the home kitchen deep fryers at the store while my wife stands there and says, "No way am I gonna let you two buy a deep fryer."
Just have to wait for Games and Festivals to sample these goodies.
Best

My wife asked me for a deep frier for Christmas, just another reason we are together.

Sometime, when your wife is not with you, I recommend the Presto brand "Granpappy" fryer.

Not only is it it ideal for Scottish eggs, it is EXACTLY what you need for Buffalo-style chicken wings.

I just think this entire thread is cruel.
I've dropped from 253 to 224 in the past 32 days, and I intend to get to 185...
...and pictures of Scotch Eggs are NOT helping.

The sage sausage is decent but the best eggs are made with SPICY saudage oh yes . HHmm, I wonder how well good chorizo would work?

I would LOVE the spicy sausage much more. I will try it some time. The reason I didn't is my wife can not eat anything with ANY heat what-so-ever, due to medical reasons (I'll leave it at that.) So, I have to be very careful when shopping. It's become second nature I guess. I immediately overlook things that say "spicy" on the label. Do you think the chorzio would wrap well around the eggs? Maybe mixing the chorizo into the sausage would be a better idea? You're the chef!
