I have nothing but praise to give to SWK for my kilt. It is way more than I thought it would be, being the economy kilt and all. But it was way thicker and more well constructed than I figured in my mind prior to ordering. I say go Stillwater even for your second kilt!!

I have a standard, a heavyweight, and Christmas morn will be receiving a second heavyweight from Stillwater. Jerry stocks good poducts at a reasonable price. I've bought hose, a sporran, a belt, and flashes from him as well. Everything is always a good value delivered with great customer service.
    I highly recommend Stillwater.

Of all my 6 kilts, my Stillwater standard Hunting Mcleod is the one I wear most. It's comfortable, washable, and looks great.

    Cheers

I own a total of 6 kilts. Three made of my own hand, and 3 from Stillwater. I have 2 Economies (one Irish National and one solid black) and a Hunting MacLeod Standard. A Black Shadow Tartan and a Saffron Shadow tartan are fairly high on my wish list as well.
I'm also working on making a few others for myself.

Anyway, Stillwater's products earn great praise from me, and Jerry's customer service is grade A and the turn around time is marvelous. When I ordered my solid black Economy, I lived in Hawaii... I had my kilt in 5 days, and NOTHING takes such a short time to get to Hawaii!

I definately recommend Stillwater Kilts. I also definately recommend learning to sew and do some of your own.
